FEBRUARY RELIEF SOCIETY ACTIVITIES

Coming up this Friday, February 8th is a ward dinner for ALL adults ages 18 and up, singles and couples.  We will be having dinner at 6:30 followed by a fabulous speaker, Marianne Jennings.  Marianne is our current stake institute teacher and retired ASU law professor specializing in ethics.  

Kristen has a list of young women to are willing to offer service babysitting in your home to families who need this service to be able to attend our activity, if you will benefit from this, please call her for a few names and phone numbers.  Can't wait and hope to see you all there!!

JANUARY RELIEF SOCIETY ACTIVITIES

We have two fabulous Relief Society activities coming up in January.  The first one is on Thursday, March 17th @ p.m. at my home and the second is a special Visiting Teaching Conference during Relief Society on Sunday, January 27th in the Young Women's room.  We hope to see everyone there!!!

DECEMBER RELIEF SOCIETY FIRESIDE

We are so excited for our upcoming Relief Society Fireside with the talented Rob Gardner!  I have attached an invitation with the event details.  We hope to see you there!!!

SUPER SATURDAY

Dear Sisters,

We have a super fun Super Saturday on November 10th planned for the women and young women in our ward, relatives and friends.  Please look over the planned crafts and sign-up with money for crafts due by October 3rd.  More detailed information is on the following advertisement that was previously sent out as an email.  We hope you can join us!!!  Please plan to come have lunch even if you are not planning to sign-up for any crafts.

WOMEN'S SOFTBALL

VISITING TEACHING CONFERENCE

Our August Visiting Teaching Conference was a success with lots of great visits and good food!!  THANK YOU sisters for all your great input and your faithful concern for each other!!

Here is the theme "RESCUERS ALONG THE TRAIL", a beautiful message of love and rescue, applicable to both the pioneers in our heritage and to our Visiting Teaching program.

Our Swim-Mexican Potluck Activity was so fun, thanks to EVERYONE who came and helped with the food.  A special thank you to Marisy Owens and her class on 'Freezer to Crockpot' meals!!!

MINI WOMEN'S CONFERENCE HANDOUT

WARD MINI WOMEN'S CONFERENCE

Our May Relief Society Meeting is a Mini Women's Conference for the women in our ward ages 8 and up.  Please feel free to invite mothers or grandmothers or daughters.  We will begin with a luncheon at noon and then divide into 2 groups.  One group will enjoy our fabulous guest speaker Sister Debbie Forrest while the other group participates in a mother-daughter interactive activity (simple and fun).  Dress is casual ~ come as you are!!!  We plan to finish up around 1:30 p.m.

STAKE RELIEF SOCIETY MEETING

Stake Relief Society Birthday Bash is coming up on Thursday, March 29th at 7 p.m. at the stake center and will feature guest speaker Liz Edmonds ~ 'The Food Nanny'.  Sounds like a lot of fun, please call me if you need a ride or want to car pool ~ Love, Pam

THE LIVING CHRIST

What a beautiful document. We are so incredibly blessed to have this wonderful document and testimonies of our prophet and apostles.  Below is a copy of the cards given to our young women to help in memorizing the entire document ~ a great way to prepare for stake conference:  Friday, March 2nd, 8 a.m. temple chapel session, Saturday, March 3rd (7-9 p.m. adult session) and Sunday March 4th (9-11 a.m. session) at our stake center.

We are so excited to announce our February Relief Society Meeting:  Friday, February 10th we will sponser a dinner and program for all adults age 18 and over including couples and single adults.  The dinner will be begin at 6:30 p.m. in the cultural hall and feature a guest speaker, Ingrid Smith.

JANUARY BRINGS A NEW START FOR 2012

We are so excited for our Relief Society Meeting coming up on Thursday, January 19th at 7 p.m. at our ward building.  We will have a fabulous guest speaker, Cien Luke and light refreshments.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

We enjoyed a wonderful presentation from Brother Cochran about giving and receiving and temple symbols.  How fortunate we are to live so close to a temple and enjoy the blessings of temple attendance, the beautiful temple grounds and visitor's center.
